In English: Yesterday after completing the work in lab at night 12:00 we went to our regular visit, down co-ops, and ordered a juice. Then I have come across this fully grown baniyan tree, which always made me remember about the adventure I have done in my childhood.

In those days we used to live near NAD kottaroad in Vishakapatnam. I used to study in St. Anns High School. Behind this school there was a graveyard, and the deseased were buried there ocasionally. The place where I sit in my classroom has a very excellent view of the graveyard. I have seen many dead bodies brought there and then burried. Sometimes the skins of dead buffaloes are peeled off, which were later burried in a big pit at a corner of the graveyard. I did not feel any kind of fear at that age. May be, I was not told, that the dead may become ghosts, till that time. One night due to some reasons I have to walk around the graveyard, suddenly I felt like, why not take a shortcut through the graveyard, instead of walking all around it. So, proceeded with that idea and crossed the graveyard and saved 15 minutes.
But, can I do this now. May be I will think twice to cross alone even in daylight. As I was not induced with any fear at that time of my childhood, I did not felt any difference in those paths.
Can we conclude, that knowing new things, reduce our confidence... I think not... Here it might be thought of as a war between two ideas, one idea saying that there are ghosts in the graveyard and the other saying that a graveyard is like any other place and the ghost thing is trash. The idea that wins will be controlling our mind. Most often the first idea wins beyond the logic...
Everytime I see this tree I get all these wierd feelings. Can I still do what I have done in my childhood?... who knows!!, anyway who is having that much of time to do all those crap...

Recently, I, along with my friends, went to KanyaKumari for a little bit of site seeing. We reached there by 9:30 PM booked our room in a hotel. Then came out to have our dinner. After dinner we were waiting at a telephone booth cum pan shop. This is when the heroin of the story entered in to picture. She was trying to pick the cigarette thrown away freshly. She was talking something loudly in tamil. I have no idea on what topic she is talking so loudly.
Sumit suddenly grabbed the camera from me and shouted "photo" at her by showing the camera. Immediately she gave us a wonderful pose. The camera captured the pose with a flash. Suddenly, she started talking fastly with Sumit. No wonder we did not understand what she was talking. After hearing the word cigarrette, we assumed that that she was asking for a cigarrete from us. But, sorry no one among us smoked.

Few moments later a caring expression appeared on her face. And started talking with us and waiting for some moments as if she was expecting answers from us. The pan shop owner now managed to translate that she was asking about our father's name etc.., and how she was trying to explain us that smoking is not good for our health. Some one has thrown another cigarrete and she got diverted towards the cigarrette, making her to forget us. She once again started smoking happily.
In English: This is a very popular story in my native place. Almost every child there new this story. This story describes the how unrelated things relate to each other when we try to explore the truth and try to find the reason.
